SHRI Academy’s CHRM programme is an intensive course that is designed to provide personnel officers, HR officers, clerks, administrators and secretaries with a sound foundation in HRM. The course also paves the way for students to advance to the Diploma in Business & HRM programme.
Course Content
Module 1 – Training & Development
Module 2 – General Management
Module 3 – Human Resource Management
Module 4 – Employee Relations
The modules listed above may be conducted in a different sequence. Module content / syllabus will be provided upon request.
Course Duration
- 6 months; 120 training hours
- Lessons are conducted twice a week, from 7pm to 10pm.
Candidates are assessed through assignments and written examinations at the end of each module. Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be awarded the Certificate in Human Resource Management by SHRI Academy.
Advancement
CHRM graduates are encouraged to enrol in the Diploma in Business & Human Resource Management programme.
Admission Requirements
Applicants should possess one of the following:
- At least 3 GCE ‘O’ Level credits with at least a pass in English
- Certificate in Office Skills (COS) / NITEC awarded by ITE or
- Basic Certificate in HRM awarded by SHRI.
Those with other qualifications deemed of the above equivalent and working experience will be considered on an individual basis.
The final decision concerning admission to the programme rests with the SHRI Academic Board.

Application Procedures
All applications must be submitted with the following:
- Completed application form*
- One recent passport-size photograph
- Front & Back photocopies of NRIC/ Passport
- Certified true copies of academic certificates & transcripts**
- Requisite payment.***
** Applicants are required to bring along their original documents (for verification purposes) including copies of education qualifications and result transcripts.
*** Requisite payment includes all fees quoted under Programme Fees.

Course Withdrawal/Transfer and Refund Policy
Students who wish to withdraw or transfer to another programme must notify SHRI Academy in writing before the commencement of the course. Application fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. The following refund policy applies:
| % of Refund (the amount of fees paid under Schedules B & C of Student Contract) | If Student's written notice of withdrawal is received: |
| (75%) | more than (14 days) before the Course Commencement Date |
| (0%) | before, but not more than (14 days) before the Course Commencement Date |
Foreign students who withdraw from a programme must surrender their student's pass to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) immediately.
