SHRI Academy’s DipOrgPsy programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in the field of psychology and focuses on the psychological aspects of organisational functioning. Students will be expected to critically engage in psychological theories and their applications. This programme will benefit those working in management/supervisory positions as well as professionals whose job requires them to interact with others on a frequent basis.

Module 5 – Emotional Intelligence

The modules listed above maybe conducted in a different sequence. Module content / syllabus will be provided upon request.


Course Duration
  • 12 months; 195 training hours
  • 6 modules
  • Lessons are conducted twice a week
Assessment Methods

Candidates are assessed by examinations, class participation and assignments. The Diploma in Organisational Psychology will be awarded by SHRI Academy upon successful completion of this programme and graduates may use the title “DipOrgPsy” after their names.

Advancement

DipOrgPsy graduates are granted direct entry into Year 3 of the Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management with Organisational Psychology (Top Up) programme, offered by Edinburgh Napier Universtiy, UK through SHRI Academy. Admission Requirements
  • Applicants should possess one of the following:
    • Minimum 5 'O' Level passes, with 2 to 3 years working experience and proficiency in the English language
    • Certificate in Applied/ Organisational Psychology awarded by SHRI Academy.
  • Applicants with other qualifications and working experience will be considered on an individual basis.
  • The final decision concerning admission to the programme rests with the Academic Advisory Board.

Application Procedures
All applications must be submitted with the following:
  1. Completed application form*
  2. One recent passport-size photograph
  3. Certified true copies of academic certificates & transcripts
  4. Front & Back photocopies of NRIC/ Passport
  5. Requisite payment**
*Applicants are required to bring along their original documents (for verification purposes) including copies of the educational qualifications and result transcripts.
**Requisite payment includes all fees quoted under Programme Fees.

Course Withdrawal/Transfer and Refund Policy

Students who wish to withdraw or transfer to another programme must notify SHRI Academy in writing before the commencement of the course. Application fee paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. The following refund policy applies:

% of Refund (the amount of fees paid under Schedules B & C of Student Contract)
If Student's written notice of withdrawal is received:

more than (14 days) before the Course Commencement Date
(0%)
before, but not more than (14 days) before the Course Commencement Date

Foreign students who withdraw from a programme must surrender their student's pass to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) immediately.
